Casa Maroma
In stunning location overlooking Lake Vinuela and the Mountains. Casa Maroma is situated 15 minutes from the beach, and has amazing spectacular views of Lake Vinuela. The property is detached but divided into two. The top half has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining room and large open plan, modern kitchen, which has been recently installed. The lounge has a log burning fire and overhead integrated plasma TV. It opens out onto a huge terrace area, which overlooks the pool and lake.
The lower part of the property consists of 1 bedroom and bathroom, a large lounge, dining and kitchen area, together with its own terrace and seating area for relaxing meals. The pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing area, and boasts spectacular views. There are 3 good restaurants within walking distance of the Villa, and an excellent modern shopping centre is just 10 minutes drive away. The house can be rented as a whole unit, with the apartment, or just the 3 bedroom unit for smaller groups. Price will be 250pounds less per week.

Indoor facilities
The open plan kitchen, leading from the lounge has modern units with a granite work top and breakfast bar. Stainless steel accessories compliment the beautiful design, which was installed last year, including oven, hob, microwave oven and washing machine. The patio area, which leads off the lounge, is large and comfortable, with views to the pool, across the lake and out to the mountains. Around the pool there are additional seating areas with welcome shade in the summer months. The pool area has sunshine all day and various sun loungers for you to top up your tan.
The Area
Just a short distance from the villa is the local village of Puente de Don Manuel. Here you will find restaurants bars and a small ‘corner shop’. Just up the road is the famous Arkwrights British store (open all hours), which sells EVERYTHING. There is a fabulous butcher and bakers and there are additional restaurants, both Spanish and European.
Around the lake there are some fantastic restaurants (including the Indian tented restaurant, 5 minutes away). On the lake there is a fantastic deli, where you can try the wines, cheeses and chorizos before you buy. Just 10 minutes away is the Arab town of Velez, with its old stone walls and the fabulous indoor food market. The Axarquia valley boasts 40 white-washed villages for you to explore, all with their own traditions and festivals. Here you can enjoy the Real Spain.
Sleeping:
The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total, all doubles; · of the bedrooms are in the main part of the house, one is ensuite and there is a further family bathroom here. In the separate apartment, which also looks over the pool, there is a further double bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. There is also an additional bathroom. All rooms have fitted wardrobes. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. Please bring beach towels.
Entertainment:
The villa has a television, both with SKY TV and DVD.
Eating & living:
There is room for 6 to sit comfortably in the living room and seating for 4 in the apartment. Around the villa there is outside eating space for 20. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere in the winter. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, fridge/ freezer, a kettle and a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
